Today I am going to teach you the basics of Midjourney prompt engineering! By the end of this video you will be on your way to being an advanced Midjourney prompt engineer capable of creating beautiful AI-generated art that will give you a competitive advantage over your fellow Midjourney users.
Now that we are in the midst of the AI revolution, the distance between advanced designers and amateur non-artistic people (like me!) has shortened drastically. Now that we are all on a similar playing field and everyone around the world has access to these powerful new AI tools, it is going to become increasingly difficult for our art/design work to stand out from the crowd. It’s just so easy now to make beautiful art!
So, if we all have access to the same AI machines generating outputs, it seems to follow that the people who can put the best stuff IN to those machines will get the best outputs. We can do this through something called ‘prompt engineering’. In other words, how can we curate the best prompts for Midjourney so that the machine can return to us art that basic prompters would be unable to create?? Can we fine tune our prompts so accurately that our art is head and shoulders above the rest??
In this video, I will begin to teach you the basics of Midjourney v4 prompt engineering. We will cover 3 of the most basic parameters you can use when crafting your Midjourney prompts: 1) Chaos parameter 2) Stylize parameter 3) Weights and the ‘No’ parameter and will also touch on how we can use adjectives and art styles to tweak our outputs to our desired vision. By the end of this video you will be on your way to becoming a Midjourney prompt engineering expert!
