Midjourney is moving into video. And yes – that’s a moment.
It’s their first-ever video model. Not released yet, but early examples are publicly visible. I’ve reviewed over 200 clips – and selected 35 that give a pretty clear idea of what’s coming.
Lifelike faces. Hands that look right. Illustrations that suddenly breathe. 5 seconds per clip. Unusual formats. Mixed aspect ratios. And in between: motion that hints at something bigger.
Is it ready to use? Not yet.
But it shows where this might go – visually, technically, creatively.
And maybe that’s the most exciting part: when something doesn’t work yet – but already inspires.
